So, things are looking up! Maybe not financially, but emotionally. We had three boys in the nursery today at church! Ages 1½, 2, and 3½. What an adventure! William, Noble, and Conner respectively. As soon as they walked in, Justin asked me "This is what you wanted, right? So many kids close together in age. Well, see how you feel after watching them."
How do I feel? Amazing! Of course things got messy, but that was the fun part! We had snack time, story time, and play time! There is nothing quite as amazing as being around children. Especially young children! With Justin and me getting married in January, I have babies on the brain. We are planning on waiting a year or two before we start trying (hopefully that gives us time to be more stable financially), but I am just so happy when I have kiddos surrounding me!
I also had a wonderful time the other day. My mother and I will occasionally go out to lunch with my first riding instructor, Ms. Betty! It is so nice to catch up and talk horses. I really enjoyed the time! It is really funny, I think we even look a little bit alike!
I have been so blessed throughout my life. I am surrounded by incredible people and have amazing experiences in my past and in my future. God has a plan for me, I know He does. I just have to trust Him to provide. Justin and I are doing our best. If we do our very best, the rest will eventually fall into place ♥

When it rains it pours
Well, when it rains it pours. Normally I try not to complain... but Justin called me from his job the other day. He was stuck at work holding a box of things that use to be on his desk. Apparently the company is in a bad financial bind and they fired almost everyone who had been there less than a year.
Next week the project I was hired onto will be ending. All good research projects come to an end. So as of Tuesday, both Justin and I will be unemployed.
This is right after we finally got moved into our new place. We have a couch, a new TV, an awesome bed, etc. Of course, most of these things were gifts, but still. I feel like we have everything perfect on the outside but we are fighting for our lives on the inside.
After we both got home that day, we just held each other and cried. That day was not the first time we've done that and it probably won't be the last. I am trying my best to hold my head up and keep going. We will make it somehow. He has filed for unemployment and we both have several job applications out. So keep us in your prayers as we go through this difficult time.
The good news is that, with all of this stress, I've lost about 10 pounds! I've been needing to lose weight ha-ha! Oh well. God has a plan and I just need to do my best and He will take care of everything else.

An Introduction
A lot has changed, and a lot will soon change in my life. My name is Julia and my fiance's name is Justin. I am a senior in college and will be graduating in December! The past few years have been crazy, but I am finally beginning a new chapter in my life. Only 4 months until graduation and 5 months until I get married to the love of my life!
I also ride horses. I've ridden for over 14 years and I love every moment. Other than my fiance, my life revolves around the animals that come my way. My horses, dogs, even the cattle that I get to work with. It is all amazing and I can't imagine my life any other way. Over the past year, I have formed a very special bond with a mare named Cleo. She's a cutting bred Quarter Horse who is 4 years old. I was able to train her to ride bareback and bridleless and respond to my cues. She's a little bit bossy, and a little bit hard to deal with sometimes - but so am I! I wouldn't change her for the world :)
I realize that this post is very photo/video heavy. Most of them won't be this full. However, I figured that this would be a great introduction. Until I post again, enjoy the pictures/video of my horse!
Right now, I am an Animal Science Researcher. No, I do not torture animals. In fact, the pigs I am working with are spoiled rotten! Their entire purpose in life is to eat and, once a week, step onto a scale. What a life!
Hopefully, I will start as either an animal care manager or
a vet tech this fall after the nutrition project ends. Whatever job I get, I
will be keeping it after I graduate and try to go to full time to save up some money for a real house instead of a small apartment!I also ride horses.
